Rising hard rock outfit The Pleiades fronted by Carter Kelso have done it again — and this time they went straight for the throat.
Their blistering new single ‘Wasted’ is out now and it’s already tearing across the internet, racking up plays, shares and a fast-growing wave of fans who can’t get the riff out of their heads. Fair warning: neither will you.
From the first bar, the track grabs you by the collar. It’s built on one of those rare, once-in-a-blue-moon riffs — the kind that burrows into your skull on the first listen and refuses to leave.
The Pleiades laid the track down at the iconic Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls, Minnesota — hallowed ground for rock fans, the very room where Nirvana recorded ‘In Utero.’
The track then crossed the Atlantic to Abbey Road Studios in London, where it was mastered by Stefan Brown, — who is quickly earning a reputation as one to watch.
The result is a single that sounds every bit as big as its pedigree suggests — a hard rock statement with the riffs, the muscle and the polish to stand next to anything on the radio.
