The Indiana-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Michael Paul Binz recently unleashed a new single, ‘Plenty’. An alternative country infrastructure is delivered with a restless, rebellious nature, as jangly tones underline a biting lyrical style.
Raw and edgy at the centre of his vocal performance, Binz is grounded and thoughtful, but allows his fiery enmity to burst out a little more in soaring choruses where the instrumentation rises. The momentum and the grit result in a sticky charm and a new look into the future after his recent eight-track album, LET IT BE.
Michael shares a comment, “When you find yourself in the backlot at the circus and know that the boss hostler and the ringmaster respect you because you gave them plenty. I find that I will find you, because good finds good, so good times!”
Based in Westfield, IN, Michael Paul Binz is influenced by grunge. Early practice of the saxophone gave way to guitar as Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots rose to the ranks of the industry. That mix, alongside further influence from Radiohead and The Beatles, has resulted in a melting pot of indie rock, folk and alternative country.
