Bellmore, NY – (June 7, 2026) The Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE) is proud to announce the full schedule of screenings and events for the 29th Anniversary presentation of the festival, happening from July 7th – July 12th at the historic Bellmore Movies, 222 Pettit Ave in Bellmore.
LIIFE, Long Island’s summer playground for filmmakers, is proud to feature 113 films from all over the world including Spain, Hong Kong, Ghana, Wales, Singapore, Gibraltar and Nigeria and domestic films from all over the USA with a large selection of films from Long Island.

We begin on Tuesday, July 7 with two blocks of student films at 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM which includes the winner of the 2026 Locust Valley Student Festival, Money Game, by Director Justin Kwok.
There will be a press conference on Wednesday, July 8th at 3:30 pm at the Bellmore Movies & The Showplace followed by our opening night party where our student winner awards will be presented, followed by more movie blocks.
Our varied schedule includes student films, documentaries, mature audience only late-night blocks, horror films, music videos, shorts and feature films. We have Peter Greene’s last film, The Random Guest. Notable cast members include LIIFE alumnus, Dan Lauria in Beyond the Silent Night, and Judith Roberts in The Lion. Lochlyn Munro is in DEI.

Panels include:
- Directors Audition panel on Wednesday, July 8, 12 noon – 3 PM, where actors have 10 minutes or less to impress a panel of six working directors.
- We have a live table read of our winning screenplay, “Oh My, Leo,” by Jeff Naparstek on Thursday, July 9 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM.
- Our Write Stuff Screenwriting panel will be held on Friday, July 10 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
- Saturday, July 11 we have our Filmmakers Breakfast Panel, The Good, the Bad and the Horror Stories of Indie Filmmaking, from 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Saturday, July 11, Stevan Mena’s The Film Market Panel from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
- John Marean’s (Intention Films and Media) 1st Assistant Director Panel will be on Saturday, July 11, from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Our panels are free, except for the Filmmaker’s Breakfast Panel which requires a $5 donation.
