There’s nothing more annoying to a guitar player than breaking a string. It takes time to change it and if it happens live they might have to try play without it. However, Cláudio Santos has shown that you really don’t need all of the strings to give a great performance.
Keeping only his low E string, Santos powers through some well-known songs including Dick Dale’s ‘Misirlou’, The Rolling Stones’ ‘Satisfaction’ and, of course, The White Stripes’ ‘Seven Nation Army’.
