Marq Electronica knows how to move people through music. There’s an otherwordly, entrancing quality to this track. Though it borrows musical elements from the 80s, 90s and now, this song remains rather timeless. Marq evades easy labelling and neat categorisation, with a hybrid of genres too.
Electronica never fails to impress. He is a prolific writer and has been delivering new music every couple months. Whilst many of his solo releases have been more leaning towards dance music, Marq goes back to his roots somewhat for this new single. ‘Bad Bones’ has elements reminiscent of his synth-rock trio Sapien Trace, for which he is frontman and lead singer.
