With her most-streamed song to-date, Caroline Romano released the official music video for the R3HAB remix of “I Still Remember.”
“The entire process of writing, recording, shooting the video, and releasing this song has been incredible. I’d say “I Still Remember” has been my favorite release to date, simply because I’ve been able to have so much fun with it. I spent a lot of time making sure that this song, as well as everything that surrounded its release, was completely different than anything I’d done before,” explains Caroline. “The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and I’ve loved getting to see people’s reactions to hearing my first song in the EDM space. The music video is really weird and fun, and I think it pairs really well with the song. I was able to show a side of me I don’t think many people have seen so far in my career, and I’m so happy with the response I’ve gotten!”
Exclusively via MusicCrowns.org, Caroline Romano has given us an exclusive backstage pass to the set of her music video for her most-streamed release.
“I really wanted the music video for “I Still Remember” to be completely unexpected and surprising. I knew that I didn’t want the concept to be a literal representation of the song, and I was really eager to throw some darker, almost twisted elements into the video that would completely juxtapose the upbeat track,” explains Caroline when explaining the concept behind the music video. “I was really inspired by artists like Conan Gray and Panic! At the Disco. I think they walk the line of mixing pop music with odd, dark visuals really well. I heavily based the style of the video off of The Umbrella Academy. It’s one of my favorite shows of all time, and I wanted to capture some of the things I like most about it in the way we shot the video. I love how it all turned out, and I’ve really enjoyed watching people’s reactions to it!“
A unique and passionate force in the music world, Romano is a breath of fresh air who is forging a path of her own in the industry.
