Red Hot Chili Peppers surprised students at Viewpoint School in Calabasas, California with an impromptu Halloween concert.
The band, suitably decked in Halloween garb, gave an energetic, early morning performance to rouse students during their Great Pumpkin Day Assembly.
Watch the rockers perform their 2002 hit, ‘Can’t Stop’ from By the Way.
The Pepper’s drummer Chad Smith tweeted about the gig – which took place at his children’s school: “Who rocks out at 9:30 am at my kids’ school? We do!”
