Floyd Mayweather to train Soulja Boy for upcoming boxing match

The retired professional has signed to train Soulja Boy in his upcoming boxing match with Chris Brown.

Mayweather, who is now a boxing promoter, put up several posters of the event on his Instagram. Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, went on to reposted it and announced that Mayweather would be training him.

Soulja Boy then posted a picture of the pair with the caption “Me and my trainer/big brother @floydmayweather #TMT it’s official!!”. There has been no word on who will train Chris Brown.

The feud first started on the 2nd of January when Soulja Boy liked a picture of Browns ex-girlfriend on Instagram. Since then the two have exchanged tense Instagram posts which finally came to blows when Brown suggested a boxing match.

Things started to heat up when Browns ex-girlfriend Nia Guzman posted a picture of their daughter next to a boxing ring and tagged Floyd Mayweather and The Money Team. Brown reacted angrily by suggesting they move up the match. Mayweather has now took the opportunity to monazite the conflict by turning it into a $1,000,000 pay per view event.

Currently, the fight is scheduled for March.
