Zeroz chaotic new track ‘The Dumbest Song Name Possible’

Anime-inspired hyper-noise-rockers Zeroz have unveiled their latest chaotic expedition, ‘The Dumbest Song Name Possible’. Thrashing, self-aware and distorted, its creative madness seems an act of sonic rebellion, and that’s by design.

From the first intoxicating hit of screeching feedback, the track is impossible to ignore, going against the grain and warping around the vocals. Guitars are performed with a serrated edge and drums are aggressive from start to finish.

“The Dumbest Song Name Possible certainly festers in anger and catchy nihilism,” Z explains, “but it also reminds me of some of my favourite heroes like Ryuko Matoi and Subaru Natsuki, who lose again and again and still refuse to give up their fight. I think there is something nice about that.”

The release comes after wrapping up tours in the UK and Japan. An aesthetic of colliding cultures, alt-rock and anime, they’ve carved out a cult following that is set to expand across the Atlantic and onto the small screens. The world-building is impressive in itself, with the foundation of the music adding an absurd but intentional edge.
