The Milk regularly conjure up modern soul music from their hideaway in London.
The band have just unveiled a live version of ‘Wild Chained Man’, which features on their third album ‘Cages’.
The origin of the track is a window into The Milk’s creative process, in this instance the concept can focus on a riff that is a few years old and has been tweaked and then put into storage only to be retrieved later on down the line.
The band then embellish it with elements of their life and voila a new track is born.
The live version of ‘Wild Chained Man’ delivers rocking guitar riffs, delightful piano melodies and smooth chords and all that is before the vocals come out to play.
The Milk then unleash soulful vocals which shine alongside the upbeat instrumentals
