Kelsy Karter has shared a new song, ‘Sad Sad Summer‘, and it’s own visual accompaniment.
‘Sad Sad Summer‘ is a soulful indie rock jam which showcases her stunning vocals and songwriting ability. The video for the new cut sees the singer slouched at a table eating cereal and tells a relatable story of personal sadness. Watch below.
Speaking about her music, Kelsy explains: “I want to be an artist that speaks to my generation. If you want a 50-year career then you have to be innovative and ahead of what’s next. A lot of my drum patterns and guitar tones veer toward those early Beatles vibes, but my lyrics are modern and they will always move and grow with me in the modern world.”
