Dreamy, unique, and already indie darlings of the music press in the UK and the US, This Is The Deep are the London-based creatives set to release their debut album on November 11th, 2026.
Before then, they come armed with ‘I’m Making’, as well as its striking, fun and chaotic video. Glorious strings sit over grooving basslines, simplistic vocal hooks, and ambitious songwriting.
Speaking about the single, band leader Ranny explains: “I’m Making is a song that explores the idea that life is more creative than we think. We make many things we don’t even realise: Journeys, conversations, faces, spaces, and ultimately our own realities.”
Alongside their upcoming album release is its launch event at Oslo, Hackney, where Ranny Macdonald, the band’s founding member, will take to the stage with his musicians from across the UK, Brazil and Japan.
