The Weeknd drops new surprise album My Dear Melancholy,

The Weeknd has released a new surprise album called My Dear Melancholy,.

Earlier this week the XO singer, Abel Tesfaye, took to Instagram to tease that something would be dropping Friday with a cryptic message. Now, he has released a new six-track mixtape which includes collaborations with Gesaffelstein and productions by Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, Skrillex, Mike WiLL Made-It, Daheala, Cirkut, and Marz. Nicolas Jaar also appears on the record’s opening track ‘Call Out My Name‘ as a composer. Listen to My Dear Melancholy, below.

The Weeknd’s last album, Starboy, was released back in November 2016 and recently earned him the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Urban Album.
