Talitha Kelly is a 23 year old emerging artist in the indie pop and soul scene, blending emotionally rich storytelling with atmospheric instrumentation and velvety vocal harmonies.
Inspired by artists such as Lizzy McAlpine, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers and Radiohead, her music explores themes of female empowerment, body positivity and the complex journey of navigating your twenties.
She has performed at iconic UK venues including The Troubadour, The Camden Assembly and The Music Room and has received praise on BBC Introducing as an “incredible vocalist” and “beautiful songwriter.”
Her second EP titled On The Cusp of TwentyTwo explores the experience of growing through your twenties.
On The Cusp of TwentyTwo presents us with six outstanding tracks, as ‘Maze Hill’ delivers a mid-tempo pop track with beautiful harmonies and reflective lyrics from the young artist.
‘Inside’ and ‘Take Me Out’ both have gentler and calmer melodies despite the emotional lyrics.
‘Body’ sees Talitha conjure up subline harmonies, peaceful instrumentals and powerful lyrics
The outstanding track ‘5 Minutes’ features a slow tempo and truly introspective lyrics.
The EP concludes with ‘God Forbid!,’ which is a vocally stirring track as Talitha’s voice shines alongside the vibrant melodies.
Biography
Talitha was born and raised in Plymouth which is very different to London, which is where she is based now.
A random fun fact about the young artist is that Bubbles is her middle name.
