Sunday Smoke starts their journey with indie-pop ‘Where I’ll Go’

Sunday Smoke are newcomers who have arrived in the back quarter of 2025 with a bright, nostalgic, indie-pop sound across two singles. Their opening statement, ‘Where I’ll Go’, is a refreshing, bouncy slice of joy. Quick on their feet, the band set the tone for kaleidoscopic colours and authentic performances. Its warming tone matches the autumn/winter season perfectly.

Opening on a breezy tone with whistled melodies, grooving basslines and energised acoustic guitar. The keys have a folky layer that pulls you into its indie pop heart, as the vocals gently bob about this blue sky atmosphere.

The band explain the track’s themes, “This is a song about uncertainty and not knowing where you’re heading, but knowing it’ll be all okay in the end.”

Made up of close-knit former schoolmates, these Surrey-based, London-circuit regulars have set the foundations for a cultivated career going forward, enjoying the journey along the way with earworm melodies and plenty of early listens.
