Stéphane Linteau lets the guitar speak on ‘Misty Blues’

Stéphane Linteau saved something special for the end of the year, his first release of 2025, ‘Misty Blues.’ The song is a gritty, methodical rock track built entirely around the guitar. There are no lyrics, the guitar does all the talking, and fans of big riffs and strong melodies will feel right at home.

Linteau is an instrumental rock guitarist who’s inspired by rock legends the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Frank Gambale. He grew up loving the challenge of the instrument, played in several bands, and eventually realized that writing music was where he felt most at home. His focus now is creating instrumental music that paints emotionally without needing any words.

‘Misty Blues’ showcases that approach perfectly. Stéphane says, “For me the song is like a fog-laden melody that hides secrets in every note, inviting you to wander deeper into its enigmatic soundscape.” The song really captures that vibe. It feels mysterious, a little moody, and full of detail. The riffs are tight, and the whole track has a cinematic feel, something that fans of rock and film scores alike will appreciate.

The new single puts on display how much feeling a single guitar can carry. Listen to ‘Misty Blues’ by Stéphane Linteau, now streaming everywhere.
