Looking for a pandemic pick-me-up? Pop-soul songstress Laura Cheadle’s latest music video has exactly what you need. The visual accompaniment for ‘Everybody Say’ (the lead single off the New Jersey native’s forthcoming project Shine This Lifetime) features a band of adorable woodland creatures joined by a colorful chorus of singing flowers performing against a beautiful blue sky. Cheadle is very much an “Alice in Wonderland” in this technicolor world, inviting viewers to follow her down the rabbit hole with the lyrics “let’s race to the top and soar right out of this mess.”
Urging listeners to “put one step forward” and “leave the rest in the past,” the self-described free spirit simply exudes positivity in this video.
“I was so joyful filming this video and I think it comes across on screen,” Cheadle says of the production process.
