Yeshi is a 25-year-old Ethiopian-British recording artist, songwriter and pianist whose sound blends dreamy pop, r&b, afro-pop and melodic rap.
She now returns with her new single ‘Starlight,’ which was written and recorded in Los Angeles on her 25th birthday.

The track reflects a moment of clarity that later shaped a major shift in her real life. In the months following the session, she left her 9–5 job in Brighton, moved to London and stepped into a director role within her family’s Ethiopian coffee shop startup, expanding on their long-standing Ethiopian coffee wholesale business.
Classically trained on piano since childhood, Yeshi uses melodic intuition as the foundation of her writing. Her music explores themes of elevation, identity, and transformation, shaped by her Ethiopian heritage, UK upbringing, and her recent transition into both creative and entrepreneurial independence.
