Having just released the cinematic electro-pop single, Slow Mo, Ria Timkin looks ahead, set to embark on her next UK and Ireland Tour. Heading to Manchester, Bristol and London this September, with Dublin and Belfast following in October, this tour is a celebration of her upcoming EP, Favourite Child, released on September 18th.
“Favourite Child EP is an exploration of the different facets of pursuing your dreams. I chose the title deliberately because it has an almost self-assured feel to it” says Ria.
“..but when you listen to the EP, you realise that ‘favourite child’ has a very different meaning in the context of these songs. It’s not about thinking you’re the favourite, but about fighting for your place in the world, desperately seeking approval, and ultimately coming into your own.”
Starting the project in Bristol as a solo venture, Ria pieced her band together and has since released three singles: Slow Mo (the first of 2026), The Difference, and Our Time, all featuring on the upcoming EP.
