Following in the footsteps of previous single “Better On My Own”, Jack Rose takes his songwriting up a gear with the addictive new release “Rockstar”. Cementing rockstar status and already receiving support from sites across the web, Jack Rose is quickly becoming a ‘go-to’ artist within the pop industry. Having been championed by the Official Charts Company, and Music Week magazine, ‘Rockstar’ is surely going to get Jack’s name up in lights. Bringing you up to speed, Jack Rose aka JCK is a singer-songwriter and TV presenter based in Kent. You may recognise him as the host of Amazon TV series Ghost Hunting with Jack Rose where he explores haunted sites across the UK with celebrity guests. Having toured with the legendary Faith Evans, and gaining support slots for the likes of Tinchy Stryder, Shane Lynch, Dane Bowers, Abz Love, Rozalla, Ben Ofoedu, Natasha Hamilton and Beverley Knight, to name a few, Jack Rose is taking centre stage and deserves global success.
Talking about the process of ‘Rockstar’, Jack told us, “It’s a funny track really. It’s a track that came about by complete accident. I listen to a lot of American Rap artists like Post Malone, 24KGoldn and stuff like that, and “Rockstar” is heavily influenced by that. Obviously in American Rap they talk about girls, parties, and living life like a celebrity and a ‘rockstar’, and that’s where the inspiration came from. It started from a voice note, and my label heard it and said ‘we have to release this!’, so we got into the studio and the rest is history.”
“Rockstar” will instantly grab your attention with it’s ear-worm lyricism. The UK’s equivalent to Justin Timberlake – Jack’s stunning music explores common ground while still sounding refreshing. An authentic artist with a single that could easily get to number 1, remember the name Jack Rose because he’ll be a huge star within a matter of months.
