Nomadic Firs drops a joyful ode to living fully present with new single ‘In It’

Listen Here – Out Now!

Multidisciplinary artist Ryan Boos, known as Nomadic Firs, returns with his new single ‘In It‘, an electronic anthem that marks a fresh chapter in his evolving creative journey. Released on August 1st, 2025, this earthy, textured track bursts with life, reflecting Boos’ renewed spirit and commitment to living authentically.

Following last year’s introspective album Love Is Violent, which closed a transformative era tied to past relationships and personal struggles, In It radiates a lighter, more celebratory energy. Inspired by two years of sobriety and a deepening yoga practice, Boos crafted this single with a focus on fun and connection, aiming to create something singable yet deeply personal. The result is a vibrant departure from his recent explorations into non-traditional song structures, offering listeners a melody-driven experience that invites them to join in.

Recorded in the cozy confines of Boos’ historic 120-year-old bungalow, surrounded by plants and the gentle presence of his two sons, aged 12 and 9, In It captures the essence of his home studio’s natural ambiance. Experimenting with Soma Laboratories’ Cosmos Drifting Memory Station, Boos weaves earthy, tactile sounds, reminiscent of footsteps and nature’s subtle rhythms, into the track’s electronic foundation. The lyrics, born from a day of improvisational dancing and singing in the sun, were refined at a local tea shop, where Boos dissected spontaneous takes to craft clear, intentional words. Layering his original improv with newly written vocals, he creates a rich, dynamic vocal texture that pulses with vitality.

The chorus, “We can’t rise and fake life and stay in it”, serves as the song’s heartbeat, encapsulating Boos’ philosophy of embracing life fully and authentically. The title In It reflects his wholehearted immersion in the present moment, a testament to the courage and clarity he’s found in his creative and personal evolution.

As Nomadic Firs, Boos is no stranger to blending art forms. A prolific artist working across music, visual art, and poetry, he has released five albums, with his debut on cassette label Crash Symbols earning global acclaim and remixes from artists like Grammy-winning duo ODESZA. His sonic palette, rooted in lo-fi textures, atmospheric pop, and electronic experimentation, is complemented by his visual art, now available through his new Etsy store, Healers Canvas, where fans can find merchandise featuring Nomadic Firs cover art. Boos’ creative hub, Hazy Acres, originally a platform for underground artists, has grown into a space for his experimental writing, with over 500 poems to his name.
