Written by Mac Roy’al and produced by Music Producer “20” Poindexter of Memphis Tennessee, Take My Time is a smooth ballad with hypnotic melodies resounding throughout the track. In his own words, Mac Roy’al describes the motivation behind creating this smooth mature track: ” I feel like when men reach a certain age, we’ve earned the right to slow down and take our time with our lady friend, ‘cuz think about it…when we were younger, we were all over the place. Talking ’bout, I gotta go over here and do this, or I gotta do that. As you mature, you learn to take your time and do it right. You’ve earned the right to savor the moment…so to speak.”
