Oxford four-piece Low Island have shared a dreamy new track titled ‘Too Young‘.
‘Too Young‘ fuses an infectious blend of indie rock with electronic elements to create a big soundscape that’s incredibly atmospheric. A steady drumbeat keeps the track pulsing along as the weightless keys flutter between the haunting reverb-drenched vocals. “I just want to see you happy,” the lead singer cries adding an emotional narrative to the track’s swelling instrumentation. The track focuses on the themes of growing up and the pressures one faces to strive for fast success. Listen to ‘Too Young‘ below.
Low Island have been rising fast in popularity and have been playlisted on BBC Radio 1 with further support from Annie Mac, Phil Taggart, Huw Stephens, Tom Robinson, Phil Selway and more. The band recently finished a sold out UK headline tour called ‘Low Island & Friends‘, which saw the band collaborating with a wide range of artists, choreographers, dancers, designers and directors.
