James Blake has shared a new glitchy track called ‘If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead‘.
The track, which was premiered on the latest episode of Blake’s BBC Radio 1 residency last night, arrived with an accompanying Alexander Brown-directed music video. The trippy visuals feature a car cruising through a city at night whilst lights bounce off the vehicle’s reflective body. Listen to the new track and watch the clip below.
The new song marks the first solo track from the UK producer and singer since the release of his album, The Colour In Anything, back in 2016.
Blake recently announced a surprise last-minute headline show at London’s Roundhouse venue. The show will take place on Monday 5th February and will serve as a warm-up gig for his upcoming European tour with DAMN. rapper, Kendrick Lamar. Find out more about the February London show here.
