LCD Soundsystem have shared a brand new song titled ‘pulse (v. 1)’.
The new chaotic cut is packed with overlapping synth work drum fills and comes in at just under 14 minutes long. ‘pulse (v. 1)‘ does not appear on the tracklist of the band’s upcoming album American Dream, although is illustrated on streaming services with the record’s artwork. The song is up for free download here or can be streamed below.
American Dream, LCD Soundsystem’s first record since 2010’s This Is Happening, will feature the previously released single ‘tonite‘ which dropped with a VR experience and music video. The new LP which also includes tracks ‘Call The Police‘ and ‘American Dream‘ is set for release this Friday (1st September) via Columbia/DFA. The band is still on a world tour which is due to end in December.
