Komanii is back as he looks to release his new EP, ‘Last Days of Summer’, just in time to catch those last few summer-fuelled late nights. His first release since last year, the EP features previously released singles ‘254’ and ‘Back To You’ whilst debuting new music.
With the ‘254’ leading the charge, it’s instantly clear that Komanii is not messing around. Bringing his euphoric R&B and rap flavours to the party, ‘Last Days of Summer’ holds that youth-filled infectiousness that just wants to get you moving. The second track on the EP is ‘La Vida Loca’, a previously unreleased single from Komanii. Starting with wistful guitar arpeggios, backed with slick harmonies, the track carries on the feel-good with its afro-beat-inspired rhythms.
Diving into the project, he elaborates, “This is a small EP to round off the summer, created with the intention of making you move your body. It’s more about vibes and energy, letting the music make you dance, jump, and move your body. May this be the soundtrack to the last days of summer.”
