London newcomer Jevon has shared a new track called ‘Judas’.
‘Judas‘ is taken from the MC’s forthcoming debut EP of the same name which is set for release on 20th July. The new track is a silky afrobeat anthem which sees the artist focus on the themes of betrayal and loyalty. Shuffling percussion and gentle keys keep things simple leaving plenty of room for Jevon’s slick vocals to preach. Listen below.
Speaking about the track Jevon states: “When I was young I got setup by someone I grew up with who I thought was my friend. As a result of moments like that I now triple question things in my own mind and it can lead me to over analyse too much, this could be another example of that.”
