Listen Here – Out Now!

Guala’s latest single, ‘Gone Since November‘, a Latin reggaeton dancehall banger hit all platforms on August 8, 2025. This track is a vibrant tale of patience and passion that’s set to ignite dance floors worldwide.

The journey of Gone Since November began in May 2022 when producer Ajna Music crafted a beat, he shelved it, waiting for the perfect moment and artist to bring it to life. Fast forward two and a half years, and an Instagram DM connected Ajna Music with Guala, a UK-based Latino artist from Ecuador whose raw talent and vibrant energy were the missing pieces. Even while Guala was on holiday with family in Colombia from December 2024, the creative fire was unstoppable, he penned the lyrics in just 48 hours after hearing the track. The duo finally united in March 2025 at Pirate Studios in Hackney, where Guala’s vocals, paired with the finesse of producer Tempo Music, transformed the vision into reality. Ajna Music’s meticulous mixing and mastering sealed the deal, delivering a track that’s as polished as it is explosive.

Inspired by reggaeton giants like Tainy, Gone Since November boasts a catchy, hard-hitting instrumental with vocal sample chops, thunderous reggaeton drums, and a pulsing sub-bass that perfectly complements Guala’s dynamic performance. It’s a song designed to make listeners feel the rhythm and connect with the story of persistence and perfect timing behind its creation.

Raised in Ecuador, he was surrounded by music from infancy, influenced by his DJ father’s eclectic spins of Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, UB40, ABBA, and Latin American legends. Writing his first song at eight, Guala never stopped creating, mastering instruments like the bass guitar and percussion to fuel his live performances. His music reflects his life experiences, aiming to empower, uplift, and get people dancing. The name Guala, born in his teenage years as a nod to his hustling spirit, also celebrates his Latin American roots. A pioneer of the UK Latin music scene, Guala has performed at festivals, showcased on radio stations like Flex, Radar, Reprezent, Kiss, BBC, Mode FM, and Rinse FM, and earned recognition from The Guardian and BBC 1Xtra.
