Greet The Chief shares new six-track EP ‘Same Planet, Different Worlds’

Greet The Chief has released his new EP, Same Planet, Different Worlds. Six tracks, loud and restless, blur indie, punk, and alternative with aggressive riffs, thumping drums, and anthemic vocal performances.

On opener, ‘Back For More’, the listener is immediately dropped into a room already getting rowdy. Ferociously quick and driving, we move into the similarly energised ‘Hit The Ground Running’, which takes the unstoppable nature of track one and refines it into a broader vision.

‘Up To The Light’ makes the atmosphere more intense, with a nostalgic blend of synth brass and world music rhythms appearing amongst the sleazy guitars. ‘Rolling Bones’ is next, providing a bridge towards the brighter nostalgic rock of penultimate ‘More To Life’. Finally, ‘Fire Water’ takes to the stage with a vibrant, atmospheric and stadium-filling finale, wrapping up all the talent and genre-bending we’ve heard so far.

“Authenticity is at the heart of my work,” the artist shares. “What you hear is what you get.”

A simple but immovable mantra, recorded and produced at Giant Audio in Derbyshire alongside long-time collaborator Dave Oliffe. Greet The Chief has earned support across UK and international radio, alongside growing attention from tastemaker press and playlists. Before this solo project, Davies also spent years touring and releasing music through projects including The Roads, Future Roads, Jooba Jooba and Jericho Scream.
