Friday is here! That not only means the freedom of the weekend is a few hours away, but that we also we have some fresh new releases to fill your eardrums with. From the sultry R&B pop of newcomer MOLI to the killer punk sounds of Ty Segall, here’s a round-up of the best tracks of the week.

Ciara‘Level up’

The Queen of Crunk is back with her latest release, ‘Level Up’ – a club-ready track that will get your heartbeat racing with its erratic beats and smooth production.

Ty Segall and White Fence  ‘Body Behaviour’

You can always count on Ty Segall to create a racket of epic proportions. This time he’s teamed up with psychedelic pop act White Fence to create a distorted, punk affair with just that right amount of throwback fuzz.

Moli‘You Can Cry’

This new R&B act is worth paying attention to. With her luxuriant production and sugar sweet songwriting, MOLI‘s sound is caught somewhere between sad-pop and lush R&B. Her newest release, ‘You Can Cry’ is the perfect slow jam for a lazy weekend.

Phoebe Bridgers‘The Gold’

Phoebe Bridgers‘ output has always been heartbreaking and delicately beautiful. Her cover of Manchester Orchestra‘s ‘The Gold’ is film soundtrack worthy. Think sweet breathy vocals and melancholic strings. Devine.

Death Cab For Cutie – ‘I Dreamt We Spoke Again’

Death Cab For Cutie’s latest track, ‘I Dreamt We Spoke Again’ from their forthcoming album, Thank You For Today, is in keeping with Ben Gibbard‘s penchant for penning excellent indie ballads. This track also notes a modern sonic shift, featuring light electronic production.
