Envi Jordan has unveiled the sleek dance-pop anthem ‘Somebody To Love’. Debuting back in May 2025, the Caribbean-American artist has been steadily releasing singles since, but there’s a chance this is the most confident and refined vision to date.

It starts out with chopped vocals and a bouncy bass line, bringing in a punchy four-to-the-floor kick to jumpstart a tune that struts from start to finish. Amongst the synthesised glitter, there’s some amazing, sharp strings and a soaring saxophone solo that pulses out of the track. The vocals are smooth and infectious; it’s a brilliant dancefloor track to get your energy levels higher.

The artist shares, “‘Somebody to Love’ also received my first music video. It felt great to explore a new medium of creation and express myself in that way… expanding the universe of the song with a visual element. I also express myself in dance with the choreography I created, and embolden that with more writing, a spoken word piece at the beginning of the video. As a whole, the ‘Somebody to Love’ project has been cathartic. I definitely look forward to making more music videos in the future.”

Born in New York and now based in Seattle, Envi Jordan offers a distinctly queer perspective, taking sonic influence from the likes of Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Prince, Michael Jackson and Madonna. His music has received global radio play and nominations for Seattle’s Best Pop Artist. Later in the year, Envi is slated to release his debut EP.
