Ahead of their new album, Transmissions, CAN’T STOP TALKING return with their new single ‘Cool People Are Arseholes’. Having already garnered acclaim from Radio X’s John Kennedy and Spotify’s Rock Rotation and Fresh Finds Rock.
Discussing the release, the band explains:
“TRANSMISSIONS is a snapshot of CAN’T STOP TALKING at our most immediate. The eight songs were recorded together during the same session at The Engine Rooms, with the aim of capturing the tension, humour and unpredictability of the band playing live in a room. The songs deal with modern life, ego, frustration, identity and the strange ways people behave around one another. We wanted the recordings to feel connected and human, rather than sanding everything down until it sounded too clean or controlled.”
Formed in East London by Jamie Autorino and Daniel Autorino, the brothers recruited Hannah Pemberton on bass and Luca Volpi on drums; their dance-punk anthems have drawn comparisons to IDLES, Viagra Boys and QOTSA.
Heading out on tour from September, CAN’T STOP TALKING look forward to high times ahead.
