Berkshire’s Black Prussia are coming at the gates swinging with a ferocious debut. The single, entitled ‘Animal’, is loaded with a swaggering vocal performance, punk-fired attitudes, and impressive guitar performances.
There are two key things at play with this single. The first, a thunderous, gut-punching, assertive attitude, a feral urgency that only punk can muster. Alongside that, you have the immense technicality of modern heavy rock genres. The contrast is between anarchy and a more precise, venomous strike.
The duo shares, “This project has been a long time coming, and we’re excited to share our music. We plan to be active in the UK rock scene and provide a new variety of artists who have not been on the scene for a long time. There is a lot of excitement in the scene at the moment, and we look forward to adding to that”.
Originally formed in 2017 but reborn a few years ago, Black Prussia is spearheaded by Tanaka Mapepa and lead guitarist Winston Alla. Now the runaway train has started, there’s no sign of it stopping, so keep an eye out for Black Prussia’s continued rise.
