Released on Sunday 1st March 2026, the Heart Shapes EP is a vibrant, energetic project exploring love, girlhood and self-worth.
This is the newest music release from London-based Chinese-Australian pop singer-songwriter Averlie.
Originally from Australia and now based in London, Averlie moved to the UK to pursue music and quickly found inspiration in the city’s thriving creative scene.
‘Every Little Thing’ is absolutely sublime thanks to delightful melodies and the gentle and vibrant vocals of Averlie.
While ‘Every Little Thing’ celebrates romantic love, Heart Shapes as a whole expands into a broader narrative: young women discovering their self-worth not only through relationships, but through self-reflection, growth, and confidence.
Across five tracks, Averlie delivers infectious melodies and empowering themes that champion emotional honesty and inner strength.
“ ‘Every Little Thing’ is about realising that you deserve a love like this,” says Averlie.
“ It’s about embracing joy and not holding back.”
Written solely by Averlie, the song was produced, mixed, and mastered by London-based producer Spiros Maus at his studio.
The acoustic guitar parts were played by Averlie, and this was one of her the highlights of the recording process. The result is a polished yet emotionally intimate story that channels glossy pop energy.
Leading the EP is ‘Every Little Thing,’ a sparkling celebration of new romance.
Blending the confessional lyricism of Mercer Henderson with the bright, playful production style of Flowerovlove, the track captures the butterflies and disbelief of finding a love you once thought only existed in daydreams.
