AVAION finds purpose on new single ‘COLORS’

AVAION steps into a moment of transparency with ‘COLORS,’ the latest single from his forthcoming album TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY, coming January 2026. What begins in a haze of self-doubt evolves into an empowering sense of purpose, wrapped up in analogue warmth and emotional precision that defines his signature sound.

‘COLORS’ opens with a timid piano line and hazy, noise-washed textures, reflecting the moments when the world’s colours dim and disorientation sets in. It’s an intimate, vulnerable entry point that mirrors the self-imposed pressure AVAION felt during the album’s early formation and an internal conflict of perfectionism and insecurity many of us can relate to.

But as ‘COLORS’ unfolds, it arrives at a moment of realisation. Carried by the poignant lyric “is this what I’m made for?”, AVAION’s inner monologue shifts from a confession of doubt to an affirmation of purpose, tracing the same emotional arc that anchors the entire record.

“I think this track is a key moment for the whole album project,” AVAION says. “As an artist, you’re stressing about making the music, questioning everything, and then you remind yourself why you do it: to make people happy.”

Sonically, ‘COLORS’ defies any potential doubts over AVAION’s craftsmanship as a producer and instrumentalist. Built almost entirely from analogue gear, the track weaves weighty bass chords, warm synthesiser textures, and tactile, real drum samples into a soundscape that feels both timeless and forward-thinking. His modern production techniques sharpen the edges, creating a palette that is raw, physical, and deeply human, yet slick and contemporary, and a perfect glimpse of what’s to come from the upcoming album.

‘COLORS’ is the new single out now from AVAION on Sony Music, taken from forthcoming album TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY, out 16th January 2026.
