Arlissa has released a new version of her track ‘Hearts Ain’t Gonna Lie‘ along with a finely choreographed video.
The singer’s original version of the song blew up back in 2016 and has since amassed almost 5 million views on YouTube alone. Now, two years later, Arlissa has dropped a brand new version of the hit which features Jonas Blue. The new cut of the track is a feel-good pop gem which has plenty of bounce – whilst still retaining the acoustic versions soul and passion. The Alexandra Gavillet-directed video for ‘Hearts Ain’t Gonna Lie‘ sees the singer throw some shapes in a red room surrounded by other dancers. Check it out below.
The London-based singer is renowned for her silky vocal talent, a talent so strong it grasped the attention of hip-hop legend’s Jay-Z and Nas. Arlissa’s original track, ‘Hard To Love Somebody’, was snapped up by Nas who approached her to feature on it. Her first official single, ‘Sticks & Stones’ peaked at No. 48 in the UK Singles Chart and prompted singer Nelly Furtado to cover it for her sixth studio album, The Ride.
