Liverpool’s Amelia has released the jewel of an exciting year, her debut EP, Meet Me In The Maybe. Led by the fresh, emotional track ‘Maybe’, Amelia brings her vibrant pop grace with raw and confessional lyricism.
Starting with an enticing hook, and then diving into an unapologetic, soaring tale of emotional rollercoasters and love-blinded experiences. It travels to euphoric highs in the choruses, with infectious melodies, before pulling us into the depths of emotion with the verses’ softer ambience.
Amelia shares, “Maybe is the realisation that love will end in forever or heartbreak, but you have trust and fall anyway. It’s my favourite track on the EP because I’ve taken these existential thoughts and turned them into a fun, upbeat track that makes things feel less serious”.
The full EP expands on this ethos, a four-track that channels all of Amelia’s talent into every bar. It features new songs and previously released enchantments, rising to anthemic status and bringing joy to life’s messier edges.
