Hailey Ezzell is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based out of South Florida.
Ezzell has been a professional musician since she was 15 years old. Since then, she has worked with several bands across South Florida.
As a musician, she is, of course, an avid music fan.
An admirer of music from the late 60s to the early 2000s, Ezzell would cite her main musical influences as Styx, Queen, Steely Dan, Evanescence, Heart and Fleetwood Mac.
‘Queen of the Airwaves’ is the debut album from Hailey Ezzell.
‘Wanting You’ is the penultimate track from the album and sees Hailey conjure up an epic and heartfelt soundscape and stirring vocals, as she crafts this emotional track about a one sided relationship.
The soulful guitar solo is simply sublime and adds an extra emotional layer to the arrangement of this already moving song.
All of the songs on the album were written by Ezzell, with in-studio collaborations with great musicians across the South Florida scene helping to bring the album to life.
The album is evocative of those classic sounds and styles of the 1970s and 80s, while bringing a fresh take to the scene.
