Iffy Orbit burst onto the scene earlier this year with the release of their excellent debut album, Slow Times. Their infectious blend of indie-rock, synthesizers and electronic elements creates an immersive sound that knows no boundaries.
The five-piece band, who hail from a place called Sandvika in Norway, dropped their 14-track debut back in September. Since then, they have continued to do what they do best: playing gigs and making weird and wonderful music.
Although the boys hold a sound similar to the likes of Tame Impala and MGMT, their playlist selection delivers an eclectic mix of timeless classics, bludgeoning bassy numbers, sparkly pop gems and the genre-bending experimental.
Listen to Iffy Orbit’s song selections below.

Skrillex – ‘Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites‘
Katy Perry – ‘Roar‘
Christian Walz – ‘Wonderchild‘
“‘Roar’ is an amazing song and ‘Wonderchild’ has that million dollar chorus that makes you fall out of your seat. It’s packed with modulations and this wacky groove makes it an ultimate guilty pleasure. ‘Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites’ is the staple of an era where everyone simultaneously got into noise music. You’re a fucking genius to pull that off. Shoutout to Skrillex!“

The track of your own that you’re the most proud of…
Iffy Orbit – ‘The Fourth Dimension‘
