Indigo Syndicate should be on your radar

Indigo Syndicate should be on your RADAR!

The Nashville based non-country Alt/Pop trio just released their new single “Let Go Of Me.”

“Let Go Of Me,” a song that confronts the strain of toxic relationships and the challenge of letting go of people who have shaped your life. “We based our lyrics on our own personal experiences we’ve had with family members who have treated us poorly and have taken advantage of the fact that it’s hard to cut off the relationship. The chorus is meant to convey the hardships of being forced to maintain a relationship with someone who doesn’t reciprocate your energy, asking the person to ‘let go of me’ because you can’t let go on your own. The concept of the song is meant to replicate the bittersweet emotions you feel when you cut off the toxic person in your life, regardless of whether you actually wanted to do so or not.” – Indigo Syndicate

The track opens with tense, hypnotic synths, and Samantha Sanford stands out on the verses, delivering raw, intimate vocals: “Can somebody turn the lights on please / I keep running but I cannot see / I’m so sick of feeling less than me.”The chorus lands with undeniable emotion: “You’re gone but still won’t go / It makes me wanna be somebody else / I’m dancing with your ghost / let go of me.” Written by the trio, “Let Go Of Me” blends layered vocals and atmospheric production, showing Indigo Syndicate continuing to sharpen their sound while exploring the real, difficult work of cutting ties in toxic relationships.
