Clay Brown & The Trouble Round Town have unveiled their new single ‘No Place’, a track that begins as a late-night confession and quickly unravels into jangly indie and alt-rock catharsis. As frontman of this Australian outfit, Clay Brown wrestles with grief, distraction and the slow process of finding balance again.
Having previously supported acts such as Fuel, Gyroscope and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, this project sees Clay puts his own songwriting to the front and center. Following a run of solo shows in London and Edinburgh, Brown leads a new chapter that places is seeing his creative vision come together.
‘No Place’ channels the grit of indie rock and the vulnerability of confessional folk. It reflects on love, loss and the uneasy space between, capturing the tension of moving forward while still holding on. Gritty yet heartfelt, ‘No Place’ captures an artist finding his footing through vulnerability and sound.
