Solange has cancelled her upcoming Coachella performance this weekend, after experiencing “major production delays”.
The R&B songstress was set to perform on two of the festival’s Saturday dates (13th April and 20th April), but Coachella organisers have now confirmed that both performances will not be going ahead.
Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year's festival. She sends her sincerest apologies, and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future.

The cancellation was announced via Twitter, with the festival’s official page writing: “Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year’s festival. She sends her sincerest apologies, and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future.”
Solange is also set to perform several over festival slots in the coming months, including a headline appearance at Primavera Sound – it’s yet to be announced if the production delays will be cleared up in time for these.
Last week, Kanye West revealed that he’ll be resurrecting his ‘Sunday Service’ show and bringing it to Coachella 2019.
