Sports Team hit the seaside in new visual for ‘Margate’

Sports Team have returned with a new track, ‘Margate‘, and it’s own set of visuals.

The video was directed by Kris Rimmer and sees the West London six-piece hit the quiet seaside town of Margate to play crazy golf, check out the arcade and perform the track in a number of very British locations. The track itself is a bratty 3-minute romp that sounds perfect for live shows. Watch the visuals below.

Speaking about the track, the band explain: “Margate’s a song about English summers. Hosepipe bans. Overgrown hedgerows. Frayed tempers. The season of Reeling in the Years and tailbacks on the A303. We went in to record it with Burke during the first group stage games, when things were looking up. Some of that optimism rubbed off.”

Margate‘ follows the release of the groups smash hit, ‘Kutcher‘, which was named Annie Mac‘s Hottest Record in the World. Sports Team’s debut EP, Winter Nets, was released was released earlier this year.
