Premiere: Foresteater return with politically charged new single ‘Pretend Land’

Foresteater have returned with a brand new politically charged offering titled ‘Pretend Lands‘.

Pretend Lands‘ sees Foresteater, the moniker and live band of Multi-Instrumentalist Mikey Pro, reflect on the ugliness and hopelessness he has seen in the world’s recent political climate. The new cut trudges along awash with Pro’s signature woozy guitar melodies and distinctive vocal charm.

Although ‘Pretend Lands‘ is “a song about feeling extremely hopeless and pessimistic about the future” it undoubtedly gleams with a shimmer of hope. Listen to the new Bob Hoag-produced track below.

Pretend Lands‘ follows the Phoenix, AZ, band’s excellent last single, ‘Avalanche‘, which was released at the beginning of the year. Nightlife of the Exploding Heads, the group’s debut EP was released back in 2015.
