Guitar duo CARisMA bring innovative technique to classical guitar

CARisMA are a classical guitar duo who have grabbed the attention of some big names, including Andrea Bocelli.

The pair and incredibly talented and have taken to some huge stages in the past to show off their skill set. This has included joining an 85 person orchestra in Kuala Lumpur as guests of Bocelli. For their performance, they played their track ‘DoNAtion‘ and also ‘Cavatina‘, a composition by Stanley Myers which is known as the theme song for The Deer Hunter.

However, it’s not just their performance that people are interested in. The duo have spent years researching, experimenting and meeting with scientists on the subject of 432Hz. The pair have their guitars tuned to this lower frequency, which has peaked the interest of many. The video below was performed at 432Hz alongside electronic musician Nigel Stanford and an orchestra.

CARisMa also branch out from classical music into all different genres. They have their own studio and like to experiment with electronic music and synthesisers in their own compositions. They have also covered the likes of Muse, which you can hear below.
