Tom Misch is a 21-year-old producer who has been growing, honing and cultivating his musical talents in the fertile South London music scene. He will be bringing the fruits of his endeavours to our ears in April when he releases his debut album, Geography.
Ahead of that he has released the new single ‘Water Baby‘, in which he’s accompanied by his friend and the shining light of the South London scene, rapper Loyle Carner. Laying out a perfectly snazzy groove, tripping over soulful samples and simplistic beats, Misch sets the table for Carner, whose signature loquacious voice is the perfect accompaniment. As ever, Carner combines the personal and the prophetic, before Misch comes in with his own soulful voice, full of reassurance and confidence.
