Over the course of the singles released so far, ECKOES has proven an impossible artist to constrict within genre boundaries. Her fluid combination of R&B, electronica and soul prove to be a killer yet again on her new track ‘Nobody Else‘, which we have the pleasure of premiering today.
ECKOES says the song is about “the one who was worth it all; all the wait, all the heartbreaks, all the darkness. The one who finds you when you didn’t think it would happen, when you’d given up, they breathe new life into you. And they seem to be created just for you, made from a mould of your body – the other half. A delightfully produced glistening pop gem filled with atmospheric drum hits and swelling synths sets the scene perfectly for ECKOES to come swooping in with her pristine vocals. She carries the song’s emotion in her voice, and transports the listener to her mind as she rides the undulating melodies and musical rises and falls. The overall effect is one of weightlessness, floating out of time, lost in the infinity of this impossible love.
