Never one to be predictable, Kieran Hebden, better known as Four Tet, has dropped his second brand new track in a matter of weeks. ‘Two Thousand And Seventeen‘ arrived in July, and now Hebden has uploaded a track called ‘Planet‘ to his Soundcloud. The classically intergalactic sound harks back to classic Four Tet singles, and makes this seven minutes flash by in a whizz of dizzying and stylish synths and pinging melodies. Listen below.
The playful producer has yet to suggest whether ‘Planet‘ and ‘Two Thousand and Seventeen‘ will be released in any further capacity as part of a future album or compilation. Whatever his plan is, hopefully this won’t be the end of Four Tet’s sudden generosity.
