Count Counsellor has unveiled his new dreamy pop track ‘Open Eyes‘, and it’s likely to keep you locked in a lucid trance.
Bluesy guitar licks and haunting vocals echo across Counsellor’s latest offering providing a spacious and blissful realm. Accompanied by a surprising Boyz II Men sample, which compliments the tracks hook tremendously, ‘Open Eyes‘ is overflowing with soul.
With nods towards OVO‘s Majid Jordan and subtle hints of Jai and A. K. Paul‘s magic touch, the London/Adelaide based artist is adding his own flavours to a sound that’s become increasingly sought after.
A sterling follow up to his last track ‘Friends‘, ‘Open Eyes‘ will also appear on his forthcoming EP & The Friday Friends which will be released via Aesop / Quality Time.
