DEATH MOON II is the newest EP from In Silo

Packed with shimmering synths and memorable hooks, DEATH MOON II is a concise EP from In Silo that is unmistakably his own. For fans of Cold Cave, Editors and Chrystal Castles, the EP is an homage to the golden era of 2000s electro-indie, without being backward-looking.

Made up of 5-tracks, including the June single, ‘Higher’, In Silo discusses the record:

“I never intended for this EP to be released. It came from a time of writer’s block where I was returning to my teenage self of trying to learn through imitating my favourite artists. The exercise was purely to enjoy making music for its own sake. Through this approach, and removing the constructs of a release campaign, I was able to unlock a new way of writing.”

DEATH MOON II is the first longer-form project from In Silo in a year and serves as a springboard for further sonic innovation. Ultimately, DEATH MOON II is less about revisiting the past than redefining it. Wherever In Silo heads next, he’s found a voice that’s unmistakably his own.
